Megan Fox is widely recognized for her involvement in numerous major projects within the Hollywood industry. Her portrayal of Mikaela Banes in the Transformers series granted her entry into mainstream cinema, and subsequently earned her the reputation as a prominent sex symbol. However, despite her immense popularity, there is one thing that Megan dislikes above all else – the constant expectation to prove both her intelligence and beauty.
Megan Fox made it clear that she wouldn’t want to follow in the footsteps of fellow MCU star, Scarlett Johansson. According to her, actors aren’t known for their intelligence and are easily swayed, especially when it comes to their sexuality. As someone who has been labeled as a Hollywood sex symbol, Fox expressed her frustration towards Johansson who constantly feels the need to prove herself in the industry.
Megan Fox expressed her dissatisfaction towards the notion of having to prove her intelligence by using big words on talk shows, similar to how Scarlett Johansson does. She clarified that she has nothing against Johansson, but she doesn’t want to go through the hassle of constantly trying to prove her intellectual capabilities. Fox stated that she resents the fact that she has to prove that she is not unintelligent, but understands that it partly comes from her own behavior. She firmly believes that actors should not be judged based on their intelligence. Additionally, she also dislikes being referred to as “sexy.”
I find myself in a situation where I receive a lot of compliments on a regular basis, which I consider myself fortunate for. However, the constant stream of people telling me how beautiful and sexy I am is something I can’t stand. It’s challenging for me to react to these compliments because it makes me feel embarrassed. Have you ever been in a situation where people called you the sexiest person in the world? It’s an awkward feeling, isn’t it?
Despite the accolades and titles, I try to remain grounded. I recognize that my fame is due to my role in the popular Transformers franchise, although I only appeared in the first two movies. Unfortunately, I was separated from the franchise after making some negative comments about director Michael Bay.
